We hope everyone is enjoying their first couple of weeks of the semester. As many of you have noticed, there has been a couple of changes in Canvas. Among those changes is a new Chat tool.
The Chat tool can now be found on your left side Navigation Bar. This tool allows users to communicate with other members of the course. Something to consider when using the Chat is that conversations will be saved even after exiting Canvas. As always, if you don’t want students to have access to this tool, you can hide it by going to your course settings.
Another tool that is available per request is the Attendance Tool. This tool is still being tested and hasn’t been released to all courses. If you would like to use it, email us and we can add it to your course.
